With all the judging being recently completed, all that remains is to find out the lucky winners of each of the 10 categories plus the announcement of the Young Creative of the Year 2017. There will be an exhibition of work from all shortlisted entries on display, and performances from dancers, musicians and singers. There will also be an overall winner across all the categories who will be named as the Young Creative of the Year 2017 and will win an additional cash prize.

The theme for entrants this year was ‘Nottingham, Future City’. Judges invited young people, aged 13 to 24 who live, study or work in Nottingham to let their imaginations flow and enter pieces of work that reflect their ideas, dreams, plans and the changes they want to see for themselves or the city in the future.

Awards will be presented by experts working in their own fields of the Arts, including Nottingham based artist Wolfgang Butress, designer of the new ‘Corona’ installation at Nottingham’s new Biocity building.
