It's #DementiaAwarenessWeek. How do people living with Dementia see the world? Tadhg Devlin, photographer, collaborated with Liverpool's SURF Dementia Network to explore the different ways they encounter the world. The project sought to bring a newfound understanding of how people living with dementia experience daily life. The work is currently on show in @museumofliverpool, and we'll be hosting a pop-up exhibition of it tomorrow night from 5PM for #LightNight, with residents from L8. The work has also been made into a newspaper publication that can be taken apart to create a temporary exhibition, currently being distributed nationally. If you're interested in receiving copies to distribute from a health centre or arts organisation, email liz@openeye.org.uk.
