Tortuguero is my favourite place in Costa Rica so far 😁 πŸ’πŸŠπŸ¦€ It can only be accessed by boat or plane as there are no roads. Just dense jungle sandwiched between a beach on the Caribbean Sea and a river with many canals. The turtles nest on the beach and it's a conservation area. I didn't see any as its not turtle nesting season but there was so much other wildlife; crocodiles, caimans, raccoons, monkeys, lizards, frogs and so many exotic birds including toucans and scarlet macaw parrots. It's such a chilled, tropical paradise of a place.
